The Mata Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young girls and women, successfully held its 6th annual conference.

The event, themed “The Power of Connection,” aimed to empower women to build sustainable businesses, relationships for personal and professional growth.

Held at the Meena Event Center, the conference brought together over a thousand women from diverse backgrounds.

The event featured training sessions, mental health awareness, and panel discussions led by renowned experts, including Aisha N. Ahmad, former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

According to Co-Founder of the NGO, Yasmin Obadaki, “This is just the beginning. We plan to expand our reach to every woman across the country, helping them build stronger, healthier relationships and strategies to expand their businesses and empower vulnerable ones.”

This year’s conference attendees enjoyed free medical screenings, business grands, donations from Mata Network’s partners, and networking opportunities with like-minded women.

Mata Network is committed to bridging the gap in education and economic opportunities for girls and women in underserved communities.

“This conference is a testament to our dedication to empowering women,” She said.
