The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kano State Chapter, has expressed profound appreciation to the Aminu Magashi Foundation (AMG) for its support toward a one-day sensitization and awareness campaign designed to empower women journalists and educate the general public.
In a statement signed by its Chairperson, Sayyida Bahijja Malam Kabara, NAWOJ Kano described the initiative as a significant step toward strengthening the capacity of women in the media, boosting public health awareness, and promoting community development through responsible and informed journalism.
Kabara praised the Founder of the Foundation, Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, noting that individuals who dedicate their resources, time, and expertise to serve humanity are rare treasures.

The statement further highlighted that AMG’s consistent engagement with women journalists demonstrates a genuine commitment to building a knowledgeable, proactive, and socially responsible media workforce capable of driving impactful advocacy and shaping public understanding.
NAWOJ Kano added that the sensitization campaign complements ongoing efforts to enlighten women on critical health issues, promote professional excellence, and foster stronger cross-sector collaboration in public advocacy.
