The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Kano Chapter has joined the Muslim Ummah in celebrating the Maulud of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), with a call to emulate his virtues of compassion, kindness, and generosity.

In a statement signed by the assistant secretary NAWOJ Kano Aisha Yalleman made available to newsmen.

The chairperson NAWOJ Kano Comrade Bahijja Malam Kabara, urged Muslim women to be obedient to their husbands, maintain good relationships with their neighbors, and teach their children the history and characters of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).

Comrade Kabara also appealed to wealthy individuals to assist the less privileged, as exemplified by the Prophet’s teachings.

The NAWOJ Kano Chapter’s message emphasizes the importance of unity and charity during this festive season, encouraging all to come together and support one another.
