The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kano State Chapter, has called on Muslims to increase their spiritual devotion, prayers, and charitable acts as the holy month of Ramadan approaches.

In a press release signed by Chairperson Sayyida Bahijja Malam Kabara and Secretary Comrade Maryam Muhammad Yakasai, NAWOJ urged women to balance their responsibilities with increased devotion during Ramadan.

The association emphasized the importance of discipline, reflection, and self-improvement during this sacred period.

NAWOJ also appealed to wealthy individuals to assist the needy and less fortunate through charitable acts, a key component of Ramadan.
