The DG NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, recently received a delegation from the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) at the agency’s corporate headquarters in Abuja in a visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between both institutions in anticipation of the second edition of the Africa Space Economy Conference.
The meeting served as a platform to initiate strategic dialogue on harnessing the immense potential of the space economy for national and continental development.

Representing the DG at the meeting, Dr. Dimie Wariowei, Director of the Corporate Planning and Strategy Department, reaffirmed the Agency’s willingness to explore various avenues of collaboration.
He highlighted the importance of unlocking the numerous benefits embedded in the space economy, particularly in advancing socio-economic growth, enhancing technological innovation, and driving national development.
The upcoming conference, themed “Space Economy and Emerging Market in Africa,” is set to provide a robust platform for scientists, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to delve into the rapidly expanding opportunities in Africa’s space sector.
