The Kano State Police Command has organized a strategic roundtable with security agencies to ensure safety and security during the planned nationwide protest.

In a statement signed by the Command Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, noted that the meeting aimed to prevent a breakdown of law and order, as credible intelligence suggests that enemies of the state may be manipulating the protest process.

“The Police Command commends patriots who have withdrawn from the protest and urges law-abiding citizens to continue maintaining peace and order to remain patriotic and avoid joining any protest group”

“The Command warns against violence, vandalism, and disruption of public peace, and requires protest organizers to provide information to ensure a peaceful and orderly protest”

The Statement added that in case of emergencies, the public can contact the Kano Police Command through the provided phone numbers.
