Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has inaugurated the Kwankwasiyya Facebookers Group.
The group’s primary objective is to promote the achievements of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Waiya emphasized the importance of social media in promoting government activities and programs.
He noted that despite the state government’s efforts to develop Kano, the achievements are underreported.
Waiya revealed that the state government is currently working on over 300 projects across Kano State. He urged the Facebookers to utilize their influence to educate their followers about these projects and the state government’s achievements.
The commissioner pledged to work with the Facebookers, providing them with training and capacity building to understand social media for development.
He emphasized the need for unity and progress, urging the group to work together to promote the state government’s achievements.
In his remarks, the chairman of the group, Abdurrahman Hamisu, pledged to work tirelessly to promote the achievements of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
