The Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Binta Adamu Bello, OON, has reiterated the agency’s commitment to partnering with MeCAHT and EXIST to combat human trafficking in Nigeria.
NAPTIP Intensifies Fight Against Human Trafficking
This commitment was made during a meeting with a combined team from MeCAHT and EXIST, led by Karin Kjaegaard and Ikape James, on February 14, 2025.
The team briefed the Director General on proposed new projects aimed at building the capacity of survivors and empowering them in six selected states across the country.

Binta Adamu Bello expressed her gratitude to MeCAHT and EXIST for their support in the fight against human trafficking and assured them of NAPTIP’s improved collaboration and support.
