The Kano state commissioner for internal security and special services, Retired Air VIce Marshal Ibrahim Umaru has extended warm felicitations to the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Kabir sallah celebrations.
In a goodwill signed Director public relations and enlightenment
MISK Muhammad Dahir Idris,he described the festival as a period of sober reflection, full of love and sacrifices.
Air VIce Marshal Ibrahim Umaru urged the Muslim faithful to uphold the values of tolerance, peace, and brotherhood which represents the principles of Sallah celebrations.
The commissioner used the occasion to extend his sallah greetings to the executive Governor of Kano State,Abba Kabir yusif, his Deputy Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo,above all the leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement, Jagora Engr Rabiu Musa kwankwaso, Speaker and members of the state house of assembly as well as the Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi.
“As we commemorate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), I call on all Muslims and thier counterpart to embrace the spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence” the commissioner explained.
Retired AVM Ibrahim Umaru commended all the security outfits in the state for sending their personnels across all nooks and crannies with a view to ensuring peaceful Sallah celebrations in the state.
He however, pray for an acceptable Hajj exercise and safe return of Muslim ummah who are currently performing Hajj rites at Saudi Arabia.
While renewing the determination of his ministry to welcome any move that will provide secuity of live and property of the citizenry.
He encourage general public to celebrate peacefully with one another,and share the blessings of the season with the less privileged one in the society.
