In response to the incident involving AIRPEACE Airline and Senator Adams Oshiomhole at Lagos Airport last Wednesday, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has stepped in to de-escalate tensions, calling for calm, objectivity, and procedural fairness.
In his official X handle,Keyamo disclosed that he has been in direct communication with both parties since the incident unfolded and has instructed aviation agencies to refrain from hasty conclusions, citing the importance of the legal principle of audi alteram partem the right to be heard.

“We must approach this situation with impartiality and professionalism, and use it as an opportunity to shape future conduct in similar circumstances,” he added.
