In a bold step towards improving education and local governance, Gwarzo local government has renovated over 100 classrooms .
The Chairman Dr Mani Tsoho stated this during the swearing-in ceremony of three newly appointed supervisory Councillors, held at the local government Secretariat.
According to him, the state government under the leadership of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has prioritized education hence the need for more infrastructural development to achieve the desired objectives.
He noted that, Gwarzo local government would provide all the necessary support to uplift education to global standard.
Speaking on the new supervisory councilors, Dr. Tsoho charged the appointees to work diligently and closely with the local government, especially in identifying and reporting areas that need repairs or improvement, to ensure rapid development across sectors.
The newly sworn-in Councillors include
Abubakar Ahmad Dan Nafada as, Shamsudden Sule Abubakar and Ibrahim Gas Daminawa.
In his remarks, the supervisory councilor in education Abubakar Dan Nafada expressed gratitude to the Chairman and the Kano State Government, promising that the newly appointed team would work tirelessly to deliver on their mandates.
The ceremony was presided over by Magistrate Rakiya Muhammad Dauda and witnessed by the Vice Chairman, Council Secretary, House Leader, party stakeholders, and family members.
