The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kano State on Local Government Matters, Alhaji Bashir Abubakar Yaro Galadima, has undertaken a working visit to Minjibir Local Government Area to inspect ongoing projects valued at N300 million.
During the visit, Alhaji Galadima commended the Minjibir LGA leadership for executing several laudable initiatives that reflect a strong commitment to community development.

However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the poor quality of work on the classroom block under construction at Goda Primary School.
In response, he directed the immediate revocation of the contract for the Gana Primary School project, citing substandard work.
He stressed the importance of transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to specifications to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Alhaji Galadima reassured residents of the state government’s dedication to delivering quality infrastructure that will positively transform lives across the local government area.
The Chairman of Minjibir Local Government Council, Capt. Jibrin Aliyu Nalado Kunya, expressed gratitude to Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for his support, which has enabled the council to undertake significant developmental projects.
He pledged to fully implement the directive to revoke the Gana Primary School contract and to ensure that new contractors deliver work of the highest quality.
Capt. Kunya also appreciated the oversight and guidance of the Governor’s aide, noting that it will further strengthen the council’s capacity to deliver better services to the people of Minjibir LGA.
