The bikers’ delegation sought the NDLEA’s collaboration in using the high-profile event as a platform to sensitize the public about the dangers of drug abuse and trafficking.
In his response, Commander Ahmad commended the bikers for their initiative and described the partnership as timely, given the agency’s ongoing fight against drug abuse, particularly among young people.
“We will work closely with you to ensure that drug education and prevention are central to the SCAN activities in October. Mobilize your networks, and let us together protect our communities from substance abuse,” Ahmad said.
