Bawale, until he was appointed HoS,  was a Permanent Secretary in the Office of Katsina Head of Service. The Dutch Directorate General for International Cooperation (DGIS)  Netherlands has provided €100 million to Nigeria, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, and Mali to improve soil health and fertility. The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), in collaboration with Nigeria Inter-bank Settlement System (NIBSS) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is set to launch an improved national identity card layered with payment capabilities.
