Kogi Central Journalists Guild (KCJG), has felicitated with the former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on his 49th birthday.
A press statement signed by the Guild’s National President, Malam Muhammad Tijani AbdulSalam, described the two terms former governor as a transformative leader, whose reigns brought massive progress and development to the state.

“Under his stewardship, Kogi State witnessed substantial infrastructure improvements, including the revitalization of roads and bridges that bolstered connectivity and facilitated economic growth. His administration’s focus on education was equally commendable, with significant investments in schools and educational facilities, ensuring that young minds were equipped for the challenges of the future.
“Bello’s tenure was also marked by his proactive approach to healthcare, where he championed initiatives to enhance medical facilities and services, thereby improving access to quality healthcare for all residents of Kogi State. His efforts in the agricultural sector revitalized farming communities, promoting sustainable practices and boosting food security.
“Beyond his policy achievements, Yahaya Bello’s leadership was characterized by inclusivity and a commitment to unity among diverse communities within Kogi State. His administration prioritized youth empowerment and gender equality, fostering an environment where all citizens could contribute meaningfully to the state’s progress.
