A 20 year old boy Muhammad Salisu has allegedly killed his own 52 year old biological father Salisu Abubakar in Gwaram Local Government area of Jigawa State.
A resident told newsmen that, the incident happened on Monday night at Bakin Kasuwa Quarters, Sara District, Gwaram LGA.

He said, the families worked up and found the full of blood with several cuts around all his body, he was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead by medical doctor.
Spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force, JIgawa state command, SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident in a statement issued to Newsmen.
According to him ” Today, Monday May, 05, 2025, at about 1000hrs, information at Command’s disposal revealed that, one Muhammad Salisu of 20 year of Bakin Kasuwa Quarters, Sara District, Gwaram LGA, attacked his biological 57 year father one Salisu Abubakar of the same address with matchet’
He said as a result of the attack the victim sustained injuries on his shoulder, neck and chest.

“On receipt of the report, the Divisional Police Officer of Sara and his patrol team were mobilized and rushed to the scene and the victim was evacuated to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Birnin Kudu for medical attention”
He said , the victim was later confirmed dead by medical doctor on call and his Corpse was later released to the relatives for burial.
SP. Shiisu said, the suspect was arrested and the exhibit recovered.
He noted that, Jigawa State Commissioner of Police, CP AT Abdullahi directs that, the case should be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Dutse for discreet investigation, upon completion of investigation the suspect would be arraigned in court the face the full weight of the law.
