Kano state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has extended warm Eid El-Kabir greetings to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, and other key figures across the state.
In a statement, Waiya congratulated Governor Yusuf, noting that the sacred occasion of Eid El-Kabir serves as a reminder of the values of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion.

He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and protection for the governor as he leads Kano State with a commitment to delivering meaningful development and people-centered programmes.
The commissioner also extended his heartfelt wishes to the Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, praying for good health, peace, and continued success for him and his family.

Waiya also acknowledged other prominent figures in the state, including the National Leader, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II; members of the Kano State House of Assembly; Members of the National Assembly from Kano; and colleagues in the State Executive Council.
He urged the Muslim Ummah and the people of Kano State to celebrate the occasion with moderation and to continue praying for the success of leaders and for lasting peace across the state and the nation.
“May this festive season strengthen our bonds of unity, deepen our faith, and usher in greater peace and prosperity for our state and the nation at large,” Waiya stated.
He called on all citizens to reflect on the lessons of Eid El-Kabir and to support efforts towards peace, unity, and development in Kano State.
