    DOGAA Unveils State-of-the-Art Skills Acquisition Center

    The Dala Old Girls Alumni Association (DOGAA) has commissioned a cutting-edge skills acquisition center and secretariat at Government Girls College GGC Dala.

    The facility, named Rabi Tajudeen Aminu Dantata Skills Acquisition Center and DOGAA Secretariat, is poised to empower young girls with vital skills and knowledge.

    The National President of DOGAA, Hajiya Saudatu Sani, hailed the center as a “beacon of hope and opportunity” that will nurture dreams and unleash and foster innovation among students.

    She emphasized that the facility is designed to provide a supportive environment where young minds can thrive and reach their full potential.

    The national President explained that the gathering is not just to celebrate the completion of a building but to celebrate the dawn of a new era of Empowerment,transformation, and hope.

    ” It is a place where young minds will be ignited with a thirst for knowledge, where creativity will be fostered and nurtured and, where innovation will be encouraged and celebrated”

    Hajiya Saudatu Sani stated that the project,, like an endeavor of significant magnitude, was not without trials and tribulations, saying that there were moments of doubts that crept like shadows ,hurdles that slowed them down,, and obstacles that looked on their part.

    ” But like the resilient spirit of the Dala old girls,we preserved,we drew strength from our shared vision,our unwavering belief in the potential of our youth, and the steadfast support of our partners”

    She highlighted that, throughout the entire process of constructing the center, DOGAA has maintained the highest standard of transparency and accountability.

    “Every step of the project was carried out with meticulous attention to detail,ensuring that all financial resources were used effectively nd responsably.We have kept our active Board of Trustees and all stakeholders well informed, with evidences properly documented thereby ,fostering trust and confidence in the work being done. We are proud to say that the construction of the center stands as a testament to our dedication to financial integrity ”

    The National President highlighted that, the center’s construction was made possible through the generous support of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a renowned businessman and philanthropist,his family, Alhaji Abdulsamad Isiyaka Rabiu, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Alhaji Salisu Sambajo, Alhaji Muhamnad Adakawa and 30 others.

    “Your presence here today not only underscores your belief in the transformative power of skills acquisition but also your editorial forging a brighter future for younggirls, a future brimming opportunity and promise”

    DOGAA also appreciated the board of Trustees under the leadership of Alhaji Tajudeen Aminu Dantata, the business community and Dala, old girls, and all those who turned the project into reality.

    “The BOT under the leadership of Alhaji Tajudeen Aminu Dantata who with his talented team,piloted this project with resilience. Their dedication to duty and their swift action to making sure that funds are approved and released is highly appreciated. The entire DOGAA and GGC Dala think you”

    Highlights of the occasion includes speech by the grand patron DOGAA Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, Qur’anic recitation, commissioning of the center and awards presentation to deserving personalities.

    The skills acquisition center is expected to play a vital role in enhancing the employability of students and promoting economic growth in the region.

    By providing young girls with practical skills and training, the center aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, ultimately empowering them to become active contributors to their communities.
