The Emir of Gaya, Dr Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulqadir, received a delegation from Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano (YUMSUK) in his palace today.
The delegation was led by head of sociology department Professor Muhammad Umar Lafido.
The visit aimed to foster collaboration between the emirate and the university, particularly in the fields of education, research, and community development.
Lafido commended the Emir’s commitment to education and expressed YUMSUK’s desire to establish a strong relationship with the emirate.
