The Emir of Kano, Malam Mohammad Sanusi, has advised Muslims to embrace the culture of helping the needy and preaching peace.
He gave this advice during his sermon after leading the Eid prayers at Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Jumu’at Mosque in Kofar Mata, Kano.

The Emir emphasized the importance of following Prophet Muhammad’s teachings, which emphasize helping the needy, especially during Eid Adha celebrations.
He also urged the public to intensify prayers for peaceful coexistence in Kano and the nation.
Despite economic challenges, many residents performed the Sallah sacrifice and dressed colorfully, while security personnel were deployed to ensure peace and security.
The Eid Prayers was attended by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Members of the Executive Council, and other senior government officials.
However, some residents expressed disappointment over the cancellation of the Sallah Durbar by security agencies due to security concerns.
