Under the leadership of the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, Members of the Assembly paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who passed away last week at the age of 94 in the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement signed by the Speaker’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawa, the Members expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, noting that the Assembly is deeply saddened by this immense loss to the people of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
The lawmakers described the late business magnate and philanthropist as a key figure who was widely admired both within and outside the country for his enormous contributions to community development and social welfare.
Speaking on behalf of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore prayed that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul Jannatul Firdaus, and encouraged members of the family to remain steadfast during this period of mourning.
