The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly KNHA, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has reassured the citizens of Kano State of the Assembly’s unwavering support for any policy initiative by the state government aimed at improving the livelihoods of youths.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Alhaji Abdullahi Alfa, at a conference organized by the Ministry of Education, Falgore commended the Ministry and its partners for packaging such a highly impactful programme designed to address youth restiveness.
In a statement released to the press by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore reiterated the Assembly’s readiness to provide legislative backing for initiatives under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, particularly those focused on technical and vocational skills development for Kano’s growing youth population.
Falgore further pledged the Assembly’s full support for Governor Yusuf’s education policies and human capital development agenda, stressing the importance of collective effort from all stakeholders to drive sustainable progress in the education sector.
“It is disheartening that many of our youths, who should be pillars of innovation and productivity, remain unemployed,” Falgore noted.
“But we thank Almighty Allah for His Excellency’s timely interventions and commendable efforts to expand access to quality education and employment opportunities for our children.”
