Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has flagged off the construction of a 5-kilometer road project in Kunchi town, Ghari Local Government Area, as part of his administration’s efforts to implement the 5-kilometer road projects across the state.
The project, which was initiated during Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s second tenure, was abandoned by the previous administration but has now been revived by Governor Yusuf.
During the flag-off ceremony, Governor Yusuf expressed his appreciation to the people of the area for their patience and support, and instructed the contractor to mobilize to the site within one week or face contract termination.
He also commissioned a township road in Yandadi town and inspected the Kano State College of Education and Preliminary Studies, Ghari, assuring the public of his government’s commitment to providing necessary infrastructure for academic activities.
This move is part of Governor Yusuf’s efforts to revitalize rural development in Kano State, and demonstrates his administration’s dedication to completing abandoned projects and improving the lives of rural communities.
