The wife of the Jigawa State Governor, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi, has called for an end to the practice of female circumcision, emphasizing its harmful effects on women and girls.
Hajiya Hadiza stated this while speaking at a ceremony to marked International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation n Dutse, the state capital.
