The state Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf made the pledge while receiving representatives of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi, UNICEF, WHO, CHAI, and eHealth Africa at the Government House, Kano.

“Kano is a critical partner for us. Anything that succeeds in Kano can succeed anywhere in the country. If a project works in Kano, it works in Nigeria,” she said.
