A 4-year-old girl, Nabila, was reported missing on November 22, 2024, by her father, Zilkiflu Abdullahi, from Dakatsalle Village, Bebeji LGA, Kano State.

According to Kiyawa, the next day, her father received a ransom demand of N3,000,000 from an unknown caller claiming to have kidnapped Nabila.
He pointed out that, the Kano State Police Command promptly launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the suspect, Saifullahi Abba, 23, on November 28, 2024.
“The suspect confessed to the crime and led detectives to Nabila’s location, where she was rescued unhurt”
Nabila was taken to Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital, Kano, where she was examined and discharged in good health.
The suspect will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
