The Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM Kano has pledged to work closely with the Nigeria Police Force to enhance security and community awareness across the state.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, the new General Manager of Pyramid FM, Dr. Garba Ubale Danbatta, announced plans for a weekly one-hour program dedicated to security matters.

The program, he said, will provide the police with a platform to highlight their efforts in combating crime and to educate residents on how to avoid criminal activities.
“The police are doing their best to ensure safety in Kano. What they need now is the cooperation of the public, particularly by providing useful intelligence. Pyramid FM is ready to support them by giving airtime for awareness programs,”
He further explained that the station has undergone a series of reforms since his assumption of duty, which has strengthened its reach and visibility across Kano and even neighboring states.

Dr. Danbatta assured the police command of continuous support, noting that Pyramid FM would provide every necessary assistance to promote peace and security.
In his remarks, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori commended the new GM for reviving the station within a short time, describing his leadership style as progressive.

He also called on other media organizations to intensify public enlightenment on the need for peaceful coexistence, stressing that such awareness could help reduce crime rates in Kano State.
