Kano State government reiterated its determination towards uplifting the living standards of the people in the State through public-oriented Programs and projects.
This was disclosed by the Deputy Governor of the State His Excellency, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam while lunching interventions provided by Alhaji Zakariyya Abdullahi Nuhu, Majority Whip of the State House of Assembly representing Gabasawa held at Zakirai.
Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs, Alhaji Sunusi Surajo Kwankwaso said the State government is embarking on projects and programs in consideration with the yearnings and aspirations of the people which put Kano State ahead of it’s contemporaries on matters related to socioeconomic developments.
He then saluted the member representing Gabasawa Constituency, for the gesture stressing that no doubt he copied such philanthropist style of leadership from the National Leader of Kwankwasiyya,
“His Excellency Engineer Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and the State Governor, His Excellency Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf hence his drives and steadfastness in bringing succour to the lives of his constituents”
He urged the lawmaker to maintain and sustain the tempo adding that prominent personalities like Engineer Kabir Jibril also deserved commendations for their tireless efforts in promoting the Kwankwasiyya ideology in both Gabasawa and the State In general.
He thumbs up the Speaker, Alhaji Jibril Isma’il Falgore, revealing that just recently, they were at Rogo for the same humanitarian gesture by the Speaker.
Alhaji Sunusi Surajo Kwankwaso enjoined the beneficiaries to make better use of the donated items judiciously.
The State Chairman of N.N.P.P Alhaji Hashim Dungurawa said “This and many others are what triggered people of the State to vote in the government of N.N.P.P and assured the people of Gabasawa that such gesture would continue” where he implored them to rally round the incumbent administration for execution of more meaningful projects.
He, also salutes the member, for the giant stride of improving the living standards of his constituents.
In his remarks member representing Gabasawa and majority Whip of the House, Zakariyya Abdullahi Nuhu said the gesture aims to emulate the National Leader Seantor Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and the State Governor who are always championing the course of human developments and advancements
He commended the people of Gabasawa for their absolute loyalty to the Kwankwasiyya ideology and assured them that they will enjoy more dividend of democracy.
He thanked the Deputy Governor for the powerful delegations he sent through the Special Adviser on Political Affairs Sunusi Surajo Kwankwaso and the Party Chairman, Hashim Dungurawa.
The donated items includes;Four Brand New Cars, thirty five motorcycles, Fifty sewing machines, Twenty five thousand exercise books, Ten thousand out patient cards, Donation of food items to five hundred orphans and an intervention for small scale business capital to one thousand two hundred and two women in the Area.
Similarly in the same vein the Local Government Council had also gave a capital intervention to two hundred and eighty nine women in the area to start up small scale business and equally provided medical drugs to all the Health facilities of the area and was presented to them through Director Personnel Management, Alhaji Nazifi Ado during the occasion
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Member and the government of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf for the intervention.
