The Kano State House of Assembly KNHA has successfully screened and cleared Arc. Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu as a commissioner nominee and member of the State Executive Council.
Adamu, who until his appointment served as the Managing Director of Kano State Urban Planning Development Authority (KNUPDA), expressed his gratitude to the assembly during the plenary session.

While answering questions from the assembly members, Adamu emphasized the importance of maintaining the master plan for cities and rural communities. He pledged to bring his expertise to bear in his new role.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, congratulated Adamu on his nomination and urged him to build upon his track record at KNUPDA. Falgore wished Adamu well in his new role and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver.
Gov Yusuf Seeks Assembly’s Approval To Appoint Commissioners
With his clearance by the assembly, Adamu is expected to be sworn in as a commissioner and member of the State Executive Council.
He will work closely with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to drive development in Kano State.
