Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has nominated six individuals to join his cabinet, pending approval from the State House of Assembly.
The nominees include Shehu Wada Sagagi, the former Chief of Staff to the Governor, as well as Dr. Dahiru Mohd Hashim, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, Dr. Isma’il Dan Maraya, Gaddafi Sani Shehu, and Abdulkadir AbdulSalam.

Amb. Waiya, Sagagi Four Others Nominated As Commissioners
These nominations come on the heels of a cabinet reshuffle announced by Governor Yusuf last week, which saw the office of the Chief of Staff scrapped and five commissioners dropped.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Baffa Bichi, was also relieved of his duties due to health reasons.

According to Sanusi Bature, the governor’s spokesperson, the reshuffle aims to enhance administrative performance and political retooling.

The nominated individuals are expected to appear before the House for screening on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
