The Kano State Government has presented ₦500,000 cash and essential food items to the bereaved family of Abba Sa’idu Maihula, a victim of thuggery who was tragically killed at Tudun Fulani in Kurnar Asabe Quarters, Dala Local Government Area.
In a statement signed by the Director, Public Relations and Enlightenment
Ministry of Internal Security and Special Services, Kano State Muhammad Dahir Idris made available to newsmen.

The statement explained that,while presenting the donation on behalf of the government, the Commissioner of Internal Security and Special Services, Retired Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Umaru, stated that the gesture was part of the administration’s commitment to console the family, though not a compensation for the loss.
“This donation is part of the present administration’s effort to console the bereaved family, but it is not meant to compensate for the tragic loss of life,” AVM Umaru stated.
He assured the family that the state government would ensure that the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice.
“We will not fold our arms and allow unscrupulous elements to disrupt the relative peace being enjoyed statewide. The culprits will soon be brought to book,” he pledged.

In an emotion-laden voice, the father of the deceased, Malam Sa’idu Maihula, expressed deep sadness over the loss of his son.
“Death is unavoidable,” he said, “but the way and manner my son was killed was heartless.”
Malam Sa’idu Maihula expressed hope that the killers would soon be arrested and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.
He also thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his kindness and generosity, acknowledging that although the donation could never compensate for his loss, it was a sign of the government’s empathy.
The donated items included:
Two bags of rice,Cartons of spaghetti, macaroni, detergent,25 litres of cooking oil and palm oil,One bag of flour,Sugar and a carton of laundry soap.
The Kano State Government emphasized that it would not tolerate any acts of thuggery or violence that threaten the peace and security of the state.
