The Katsina State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KTSCHMA) has launched a sensitization campaign to educate beneficiaries on how to access affordable healthcare services.
The campaign aims to provide quality healthcare to state and local government staff, pensioners, and their families at lower prices .
KTSCHMA Enrolls Over 542 in Dutsinma Health Center
Kabir Dahiru, Director of Special Duties, explained that 2.5% of civil servants’ salaries are deducted monthly as contributions to the scheme.
However, beneficiaries have raised concerns about inadequate drugs and poor attitudes of health professionals.
To address these issues, beneficiaries are calling for the establishment of zonal offices across the state to facilitate easy access to complaint resolution mechanisms.
The NULGE Chairman, Comrade Kair Samaila, commended the state government for introducing the scheme, which is expected to reduce the financial burden of medical bills on workers.
The Dutsinma Comprehensive Health Center has reported significant success in providing healthcare services to enrolled beneficiaries at lower costs.
The center’s in-charge, Malam Abubakar Suleiman Liman, praised the state commissioner for health and the Director General of the National Primary Healthcare Agency for their support and supervision of KTSCHMA programs.
