Maryam’s 20-minute performance was a hit with the crowd, with her songs and artistic display on stage getting the spectators dancing in frenzy.
Her performance was commended by the Director-General of the competition, Hon. Ahmed Gara Gombe, and other guests, who couldn’t resist joining in the dancing.

Maryam, a graduate of the Katsina State College of Education, said she started her music career at the age of seven and has since performed in various states, composing songs for politicians and dignitaries in Northern Nigeria.
She expressed her gratitude to Hon. Gara Gombe for inviting her to perform at the event and thanked her fans for their love and support.

Maryam’s manager, Abubakar Bature, praised her performance, saying she has natural talent and has been improving tremendously since he started managing her.
He plans to take her career to the next level, exploring opportunities in other states and even internationally.
