A commencement ceremony marked the launch of the Nigerian Agritourism Village Project in Kano.

Prince Akinloye Ogunmodede, representing Ambassador Arc Trust Henry Ogbol, delivered a keynote speech highlighting national and international issues of importance.

The project aims to promote food security, sufficient food production, and rural community development through public-private partnerships. Recent technological advancements and federal government campaigns support farmers in growing crops like cassava.

To expedite Nigeria’s journey to food security, Prince Ogunmodede emphasized the need for greater investment in storage and preservation infrastructure.

Dignitaries in attendance included the State Coordinator of Kano, Nura Danjuma, representatives from the Commissioners of Agriculture and Water Resources, and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
