The second round of Ukrainian wheat distribution is currently underway in five local government areas of Katsina State.
The distribution is part of a collaboration between the African Youth Growth Foundation and the World Food Programme to address food insecurity in the region.
According to the zonal Coordinator of the programme Dr Job Onuche Over 5,000 beneficiaries are expected to receive critical nutritional support, with a focus on vulnerable populations such as women, children, and youth.
He urged beneficiaries to utilize the commodities and desist from selling.
The programme aims to provide sustainable solutions to food insecurity and has identified key areas of focus including innovative practices, efficient distribution methods, and community engagement initiatives
