Kano, Nigeria – The Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in Kano has announced that it resolved 14,588 cases in 2024, out of 17,347 cases carried over from 2023. The commission has 2,759 pending cases.
Hajiya Aisha Aliyu, State Director of Investigation, revealed this information during an exclusive interview.
She emphasized that the commission handles cases professionally and impartially, regardless of factors like religion, gender, or ethnicity.

The majority of cases addressed by the commission involved pension issues, non-payment of allowances, land encroachments, and related matters.
To enhance staff capacity, the commission organized an in-house training for investigation officers, focusing on efficient complaint handling and resolution techniques.
State Commissioner Zakari Sarina has pledged to prioritize staff welfare and provide ongoing training for better service delivery.
