Kano State’s Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, is advocating for refined language in political programs, especially on radio stations.
He emphasized that presenters play a crucial role in ensuring guests use decent language, avoiding insults and disrespectful remarks.

During a courtesy visit from the Kano State Radio Political Programmes Presenters Forum, Waiya assured the delegation that the government would provide training to enhance their skills and professionalism.
He also reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the Forum’s welfare.
The Chairman of the Forum, Abdullahi Muhammad Wali, congratulated the Commissioner on his appointment and assured him of their commitment to promoting refined language in political programs.
Wali also appealed for government assistance in providing training for Forum members.
