White heart development initiative in collaboration with Aminu Magashi Garba foundation has distributed learning materials to 150 pupils In Kano.

White heart development initiative Executive director khadija Aliyu Ammani explained that, education needs to be included in humanitarian activities due to its significance in promoting sustainable the society.

Miss Ammani pointed out that, kauyen Muhammadu and limawa pupils are the beneficiaries of the first project and are careful selected due to the challenge they face in acquiring quality education where writing materials and school uniforms serve as barriers in the process.

“The government alone can’t do it without helping hands from NGOs that are willing to promote educational standards in the state”.

Head of operations AMG foundation Mal Suleiman Jalo Sulaiman hinted that, one of the organization priorities is to enhance and promote quality education from primary to tertiary level in the country.

“Providing school uniforms, books, pen and other basic necessary items will great an enabling environment for the pupil to digest more in the classroom”

The Co- Co-Chair of CSOs in Kano Accountability Forum on Education (K.SAFE) Dr Auwal Halilu appreciated the efforts of the NGOs, and ensure more from the government under his leadership.

Other organizations that contribute to the success of the program are Non-Formal Development for Education and Health Initiatives (NDEHI), HKP Initiative, CSACEFA, ⁠REWOFO and KALAMED.
