The Dambatta/Makoda Zauren Tuntuba Initiative deeply mourns the tragic loss of six promising young indigenes of Dambatta who lost their lives in a ghastly auto crash along Gada town in Kazaure Local Government Area, while returning from Katsina State.
Rescue Efforts End in Tragedy as Four Drown in Kano Waterway
In a heartfelt condolence visit to the bereaved families, the Chairman of the Initiative, Alhaji Balarabe Shehu, expressed profound sorrow over the untimely demise of the victims, describing it as a painful loss not just to their families but to the entire Dambatta community.
“We are devastated by the sudden death of these vibrant youths in the prime of their lives. On behalf of the Executive and members of the Dambatta/Makoda Zauren Tuntuba Initiative, I extend our deepest condolences. May Allah (SWT) grant them Jannatul Firdaus and give their families the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he stated.
Alhaji Balarabe also extended condolences to the Sarkin Ban Kano, District Head of Dambatta, Dr. Mansur Muktar Adnan, and called for continued prayers for the departed souls.

In his remarks, the Chairman called on the relevant authorities to expedite urgent repairs of the Kano-Daura Highway, which he described as a death trap.
He pointed out that preliminary findings suggest the accident was caused by the dangerous potholes dotting the road.
He commended the swift intervention of the Executive Chairman of Dambatta Local Government, Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta, who promptly directed for immediate remedial work to begin on the affected portion of the highway.
The Chairman was accompanied by other Executive members of the Initiative during the condolence visit.
