The Kano State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, has called on teachers to redouble their efforts and commitment to their duties.
Speaking through the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Bashir Baffa, during a meeting with headmasters at the Ungogo Local Government Education Department, Dr. Makoda emphasized the need for punctuality and dedication to achieve better educational outcomes.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of Ungogo Local Government, Alhaji Tijjani Amiru Bilyaminu, who was represented by Vice Chairman Alhaji Auwalu Isa Idiris.
The Chairman commended the initiative, stating it was a positive step towards improving education in the area.

In addition, Hajiya Amina Umar, representing the State Primary School Basic Education, highlighted the reintroduction of rules and regulations to enhance teaching and learning in schools.
The Chairman of the Education Committee, Alhaji Sammani Muhammad Zango, pledged continued support for the new system and commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the local administration for their efforts in the education sector.
Education Secretary Hajiya Hussaina Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the state’s efforts in the education sector.
