    Congratulatory Message to His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, Executive Governor of Kano State on His Two-Year Anniversary in Office

    Your Excellency,

    On behalf of the Kano State Accountability Forum on Education (K-SAFE), comprising committed Civil Society Organizations and education stakeholders across the state, we extend our warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of your two successful years in office as Executive Governor of Kano State.

    K-SAFE Celebrates International Day of Girls in ICT

    Your leadership has ushered in a new era of hope, progress, and renewed commitment to the education sector. We particularly commend your bold actions and policy direction, which have directly impacted the lives of children, teachers, and communities across the state. These include:

    The massive recruitment and strategic deployment of qualified teachers, addressing critical teacher gaps in our public schools.

    Ad 3

    The distribution of essential learning materials, improving access to quality teaching and learning resources.

    The rehabilitation and construction of school infrastructure, enhancing learning environments across all LGAs.

    K-SAFE Congratulates Gov Yusuf on Leadership Prestigious Award

    The approval and implementation of key education policies, such as the Teacher Recruitment and Deployment Policy, the Girls’ Education Policy, and the Non-State Actors Policy, which have laid a strong foundation for equity, inclusion, and improved accountability in the sector.

    The declaration of a State of Emergency in Education, which reflects your deep commitment to turning around the sector.

    The successful hosting of the Kano Education Recovery Conference, which has provided a comprehensive roadmap for transforming education in Kano.

    Your Excellency, these achievements speak volumes about your vision and dedication to repositioning education as the backbone of Kano’s development.

    As a platform that champions accountability, inclusive participation, and evidence-based education planning, K-SAFE remains fully committed to partnering with your administration, relevant MDAs, and education supporters both within and outside the state to deepen reforms and deliver on the promise of quality education for all.
