The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, expresses his heartfelt condolences to the Managing Director of Hadejia & Jama’are River Basin Development Authority,HJRBDA Alhaji Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, over the loss of his beloved mother, late Hajia Rakiya.
She passed away at the age of 80 after a prolonged illness and has been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
Ata, in his condolence message, describes the death of Hajia Rakiya as a significant loss not only to her immediate family but to all who knew her for her wisdom, kindness, and devotion to her faith. “Indeed, every soul shall taste death,” he said,
The Minister added that “Her life was a testimony to the values of patience, humility, and care for others. We pray Allah grants her Al-Jannah Firdaus.”
The Minister further emphasizes the importance of seeking solace in Allah’s will during times of grief. “May Allah strengthen Alhaji Rabiu Suleiman Bichi and his family during this difficult time.
“We must remember that this is a journey all living souls must undertake.”
He assured the family of his prayers and solidarity in this moment of mourning, urging them to cherish the fond memories of the deceased.
