Free Cataract Surgeries
The Foundation’s free cataract surgery program, which successfully conducted 1002 surgeries in the South-West Region, is expanding to the South-East and South-South regions.
The program aims to restore sight to 6,000 beneficiaries nationwide, with 1000 from each of the six geopolitical zones. The next phase is set to commence on March 31, 2025.
STEM Education Support
To bridge the educational gaps, the NNPC Foundation will donate 25,000 STEM textbooks and branded bookshelves to 25 secondary schools across 24 states and the FCT.
This initiative addresses the limited access to quality STEM learning resources, a major factor contributing to the low enrollment of Nigerian students in science and technology in tertiary institutions.
