Ambassador Usman Namama has declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Kano State Chapter.
Speaking to Journalists at a press briefing on Friday, Amb. Namama said he has been passionate concerned about future youth.

Namama pointed out that “the basis of this candidature that I tagged ” a brighter future ” is a line of commitments and sacrifices which I believed-in, and had been thinking to chart out for clear path throughout my career. Indeed, Our youth in Kano state need effective guidance, life carry plan and tireless promotion towards creativity, entrepreneurship, Innovation and carrier development.”
The chairmanship candidate noted that “My vision and dream is to reinvigorate the commitment of our youth and create a vibrant and inclusive youth council that truly represents the voices and aspirations of our young men and women.
” It’s a short and long term plans and very achievable through promoting youth-led initiatives, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders, and advocating for policies that support youth development.” He however said.

He pointed out that “I am confident that, the long time experience garnered via passion, and commitment to youth development has certainly made me the ideal candidate for this position, and i volunteered to build a brighter future for our youth and for Kano State.
Namama commended the Commissioner for Youth, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, for his initiatives and foresight to develop Kano youth. According to him, youth are an asset to the nation if properly utilized.
According to him, the recent election of council leadership across Kano’s 44 Local Government Areas, organized by the Kano State Ministry of Youth and Sports, served as an indicator that the election of new leadership at the state level will be conducted soon.
He explained that this was the reason behind their declaration, stating, “We want to carry everyone along and commend you for your support.” He stated
