Abuja, Nigeria – May 13, 2025 – The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, will depart for Russia today to attend the 2025 International Property Market Exhibition and Conference.
The two-day event, scheduled for May 15-16, 2025, will take place in Kazan, a prominent Russian city.

During his official visit, Minister Ata will deliver a keynote address at the 2025 International Economic Forum, themed “Russia – Islamic – Kazan Forum.” The forum will provide a platform for the minister to showcase Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Housing Programmes, initiated by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.
As part of the side attraction, Minister Ata will engage in a roundtable brainstorming session with international investors, developers, and captains of the housing industry.
This meeting aims to foster partnerships and collaborations that will drive the growth of Nigeria’s housing sector.
This marks the first official foreign trip for Minister Ata since assuming office on November 3, 2024.
His participation in the 2025 International Property Market Exhibition and Conference underscores the government’s commitment to promoting Nigeria’s housing industry on the global stage.
The Renewed Hope Housing Programmes are a key component of the government’s efforts to address the country’s housing deficit and provide affordable housing for its citizens.
