The Kano State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, remains committed to enhancing the quality of education by providing essential learning materials to schools across all 44 Local Government Areas of the state.
As part of this effort, the Rogo Local Government, chaired by Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, has commenced the distribution of classroom chairs to schools within the LGA, in a bid to foster a more conducive teaching and learning environment.

The official distribution ceremony took place at the Rogo Local Government Secretariat and was led by the Supervisory Councillor of Education, Malam Muhammad Abdullahi Bari, who represented the Local Government Chairman.
In his address, Malam Muhammad Abdullahi Bari urged the heads of beneficiary schools to utilize the chairs responsibly and in alignment with the Kano State Government’s broader vision of revitalizing the education sector.
Also speaking at the event, the Local Government Education Secretary, Malam Sule Imam, noted that the educational development agenda of the Abba Kabir Yusuf administration is already yielding positive results.
He assured that the chairs will be distributed fairly and equitably, and reaffirmed the local education authority’s full support for government policies aimed at national development and educational improvement.
