The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has called on citizens in Kano State and across the country to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
NAWOJ National Chairperson, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim, made the appeal during an interactive session with journalists in Kano.

Speaking through the National Secretary, Wasilah Ladan, the association Comrade Wasila Kadan,she stressed the importance of obtaining Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) as a crucial step in exercising civic rights.
This appeal also reinforces the call by the Kano State Commissioner for Information, Abdullahi Waiya, who has urged massive participation in the exercise.
Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim encouraged all eligible citizens to seize this opportunity, noting that “obtaining your PVC is a key step towards shaping the future of our state and our nation.”
