Kaduna State has projected Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda to the global stage, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable growth, security, and international collaboration.
During a Special Side Event at the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, themed “Global Partnerships, Local Prosperity: Unlocking Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Blueprint for Sustainable Growth.”
Addressing participants, Kaduna state governor Malam Uba Sani
highlighted the bold and transformative reforms championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
These reforms, described as a fundamental realignment of governance, are aimed at restoring public trust, rebuilding investor confidence, and setting Nigeria on a sustainable growth trajectory.
Key among the measures outlined were the removal of the fuel subsidy, exchange rate unification, institutional reforms, and renewed diplomatic engagement—all of which are already yielding measurable progress.
Ge said, Kaduna State was presented as a microcosm of the national resurgence. Once hindered by security challenges, the state has recorded significant improvements through a combination of kinetic operations and community-driven peacebuilding strategies.
This progress, he noted, was recently validated by the United Kingdom Government’s decision to upgrade Kaduna’s travel advisory status from “Red” to “Amber.”
“Beyond security, the state is pursuing transformative initiatives such as the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ), investments in human capital development, digital modernization, and governance reforms anchored on transparency and inclusivity”
The Governor, stressed that while Nigeria’s determination remains crucial, global partnerships are indispensable in unlocking the country’s full potential.
He called for deeper collaboration with multilateral institutions, development partners, private investors, and the diaspora to co-create scalable solutions for shared prosperity.
Gov Sani reaffirmed the state’s commitment to sustaining reforms and saluted President Tinubu’s leadership in driving Nigeria’s economic renaissance.
He pledged to continue building a future anchored on peace, dignity, and opportunity for all citizens.
