Ian Attfield, Senior Education Adviser at the British High Commission, outlined the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s (FCDO) support for Nigeria’s education sector.
He emphasized quality enhancement through supporting channels, effective monitoring and evaluation, and the need for long-term sustainability at all levels.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of teaching in the mother tongue to improve learning outcomes and proposed solutions to existing challenges.
Bukola, the Communication Manager, highlighted the necessity of robust media partnerships for effective education advocacy.
She called for the establishment of platforms where media organizations could share information and collaborate on campaigns to enhance education mobilization.
