    PLANE Parley: Strengthening Media Partnerships for Edu Advocacy

    In commemoration of the International Day of Education, Plane hosted a Media Parley under the theme “The Transformative Power of Media Partnership in Driving Education Advocacy.”

    The event brought together key stakeholders in media and education to discuss the role of media in advancing educational goals, highlighting achievements, and addressing challenges.

    Kano Govt Strengthens Partnership with PLANE to Boost Education

    Mr. Samuel Achimugu, Deputy Team Lead for Strengthening Media Relationships, welcomed participants and emphasized the crucial role of media outlets in creating awareness and fostering further engagement in education advocacy.

    He underscored the achievements of Plane in promoting educational development while acknowledging existing challenges.

    PLANE Partners Ministry of Edu to Bridge Communication Gaps

    Ian Attfield, Senior Education Adviser at the British High Commission, outlined the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s (FCDO) support for Nigeria’s education sector.

    He emphasized quality enhancement through supporting channels, effective monitoring and evaluation, and the need for long-term sustainability at all levels.

    Additionally, he stressed the importance of teaching in the mother tongue to improve learning outcomes and proposed solutions to existing challenges.

    Bukola, the Communication Manager, highlighted the necessity of robust media partnerships for effective education advocacy.

    She called for the establishment of platforms where media organizations could share information and collaborate on campaigns to enhance education mobilization.

    KNSG PLANE Organizes 3 Day Education Sector Review meeting

    Dr. Lauratu Abdussalam delivered a lecture on the role of media networks in education, exploring key collaboration opportunities within the Plane Education Media Network.

    Atinuke Akande, Senior Communications Officer at the British High Commission, engaged participants in discussions on the importance of media partnerships in education, stressing their role In amplifying advocacy efforts.

    The Media Parley reinforced the significance of media collaborations in driving educational transformation.
