Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle.
Youth Sports and Culture Sagir Musa Ahmed disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the state executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Umar Namadi.
Katsina State Governor Reshuffles Cabinet to Boost Performance
He said the Executive Council has after deliberations, the Secretary to the State Government has made an announcement for a minor cabinet reshufflements in the State Executive Council as follows.
The affected ministries include, The Honorable Commissioner for Land, Housing, Urban Development and Regional Planning – Hon. Muhammed Alhassan is to move to Ministry for Water Resources, Honorable Commissioner of Water
Resources – Hon. Ibrahim Garba Hannun Giwa is to move to Ministry for Local Government & Community Development.
While Honorable Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development – Hon. Ahmed Garba (MK) is posted to the Ministry of Land, Housing, Urban Development and Regional Planning.

Hon. Sagir said the cabinet reshufflements take immediate effect from today – 5th May, 2025 and expected to report to their new offices not later than 19th May, 2025.
